It will be someone who has a desire to spread the message that there is recovery from compulsive eating. It will be someone who has knowledge of and has experience with the Steps, Traditions and Concepts of Overeaters Anonymous. It will be someone who likes to travel, meet people and make new friends, reunite with old friends, and have fun doing service.
The highlights of being a Vice Chair on the Region 2 board are (but not limited to):
- Attend four face to face board meetings a year (expenses paid by R2)
- Attend two virtual board meetings a year
- Coordinate ST&C (Service, Traditions and Concepts) Workshops
- Assist the Chair as needed

As you give, you shall receive. My experience as a member of the Region 2 Board has been one that I will never forget. It has kept me abstinent, and has made me the best person I can possible be (I am not claiming perfection, but certainly more manageability in my life!)
