​​REGION 2 2026 CONVENTION UPDATE
​  After careful consideration, the Region 2 Board has decided to carry the theme, program content, and energy planned for the 2026 Convention forward to an in-person Convention in 2027.
​
  Over the past year, members throughout the fellowship have consistently expressed enthusiasm for gathering together face-to-face in recovery, fellowship, and service.      
  As trusted servants, our role is not to dictate what the fellowship should support, but to listen to the collective voice of the fellowship and respond accordingly.

  This decision aligns with R2's new multi-year agreement in the San Francisco Bay Area and creates an opportunity to build a stronger, more connected Convention experience that reflects what members have told us they value most: being together.

  This summer, R2 will focus its efforts on delivering a productive Summer Assembly while preparing for a larger celebration of recovery, unity, and fellowship in 2027.
  All registered Convention attendees have been contacted directly regarding registration and merchandise purchases.

​  We are grateful for the support, enthusiasm, and confidence shown by our members and look forward to welcoming the fellowship to an inspiring in-person Convention in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2027.

a powerful weekend of celebration immediately following the R2 Summer Assembly, as we transition from the work of Assembly into a weekend of fellowship and celebration on Friday evening.

​The CONVENTION is a weekend-long celebration of recovery, open to all OA members. Through inspiring speakers, transformative workshops, and meaningful connection, it offers a chance to recharge your program and reconnect with the fellowship. This event is also Region 2’s only major fundraiser, supporting vital services that help carry the message throughout our region.
