For Virtual Participants
Where are my Zoom links?
Zoom links will be sent to your registration email 7-10 days before the convention. Can’t find the email with your links? Check your spam folder. Email zoom@oar2.org for help.
Do I need to register to attend virtually?
Yes, you need to register to attend. Please do not forward the links to non-registered attendees.
Do I need to install Zoom or have a Zoom account?
No. You can just click the links in your email. If you don't have Zoom installed, it will offer to install it automatically, or you can click the option to "Join from Browser."
Do I need to have a computer?
No. You can join from a smartphone by clicking the links in your email.
Can I listen by telephone if I don't have a smartphone?
Yes. Use this number 833-302-1536 and enter the Meeting ID on your phone when prompted.
Why can't I unmute?
Participants are muted in most sessions. When you are called on to speak, you will see a message pop up on your screen to unmute.
Do I need to keep my video on?
You are free to have your video on or off during the Convention. We request that if you are eating or moving around you turn off your video. If you are sharing during a virtual meeting, we request that your video be on.
How do I listen in Spanish?
To listen to a session in Spanish click the Interpretation globe in Zoom and choose "Spanish." You may also want to choose "Mute Original Audio."
How do I view subtitles?
To view subtitles click the “Show Captions” button. To view the subtitles in English, click the “Up” arrow next to the Closed Captions button and choose English.
How do I get help during the session?
If you need help, click on Chat to ask one of our HOSTS.
